Join us for TSRA's fall fundraiser at the Lost Loon Triathlon on Sept. 13 at Long Hunter State Park.  Our family-friendly, untimed triathlon benefits the Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association and river conservation projects.

Our festive race teams compete by road cycling 9 miles (3 loops 3 miles each), lake paddling for 2 miles and train running or walking for 2 miles around Couchville Lake.  Time and distance are up to you and all ages are welcome to participate.  Costumes and team themes are optional but lots of fun.  Awards are based on enthusiasm versus speed.  Pre-registration is required online in advance at www.lostloons.com.

The team fee of $85 is nonrefundable and includes 1 canoe rental, 2 adult race shirts and a picnic lunch. You can bring your own tandem boat if you prefer (canoes and kayaks accepted). The Park limits 3 adults per canoe. Cyclists need their own bikes and bike helmets.  You can compete in all 3 sports or divide them up among your teammates like a relay.  Strollers are accepted on the trail run.

Not competing?  Volunteer with us on race day.  TSRA volunteers (general helpers) are always appreciated on the race course and especially on the waterfront to help our race teams safely launch their boats.  http://www.lostloons.com/volunteer.html

Preregistered race teams check in from 8-9 am with a safety talk at 9:15 am and 9:30 am race start.  The event ends at noon.  Thank you Loyal Loonies who support this event every year.  Celebrate the outdoors with us! Follow us on Facebook for updates https://www.facebook.com/lostloontriathlon/
