Harpeth River Trip December 21st, 2024_Harpeth River State Park_ Kingston Springs 6 to Gosset Tract 8
For four consecutive 3rd Saturday paddles we will try to paddle as much of the full length of the Harpeth River State Park, 40 miles total, as possible. I usually divide this area into five sections so we will paddle four of the five starting November through February. Come paddle as many sections as you would like or all. I will be posting which section and itinerary each month.
I plan this year to paddle these sections in reverse order starting first at the Narrows and going upstream from there section by section.
This will be winter paddling, so preparation and proper gear are essential. Give me a call if you are new to cold weather paddling and need to discuss preparation and gear. These trips will all be weather dependent. If conditions are too harsh, we will reschedule as needed.
