On every 3rd Saturday of each month TSRA will be leading a Flatwater to Class 1 paddle trip. Location will be determined a week or two out and updated on the calendar. Basic paddling skills, training and gear are a prerequisite for all registrants. Life Jackets (PFD) will be worn at all times on the water. No alcohol during trip.
TSRA Harpeth River Trip February 17th, 2024_Harpeth River State Park_ Section 5 of 5.
For the past five consecutive 3rd Saturday paddles we have paddled the full length of the Harpeth River State Park, 40 miles total, in 5 sections, starting October through February.
This will be winter paddling, so preparation and proper gear are essential. Give me a call if you are new to cold weather paddling and need to discuss preparation and gear. These trips will all be weather dependent. If conditions are too harsh, we will reschedule as needed.
