On every 3rd Saturday of each month TSRA will be leading a Flatwater to Class 1 paddle trip. Location will be determined a week or two out and updated on the calendar. Basic paddling skills, training and gear are a prerequisite for all registrants. Life Jackets (PFD) will be worn at all times on the water. No alcohol during trip.
For the next five, 3rd Saturday paddles we will be paddling the full length of the Harpeth River State Park, 40 miles total, in 5 sections, starting October through February. Some shorter sections will overlap due to length. Come paddle as many sections as you would like. I will post which section and itinerary each month.
This will be winter paddling, so preparation and proper gear are essential. Give me a call if you are new to cold weather paddling and need to discuss preparation and gear. These trips will all be weather dependent. If conditions are too harsh, we will reschedule as needed.
