August "3rd" Saturday Paddle on the 4th Sat

On every 3rd Saturday of the month from January to December TSRA will be leading a Flatwater to Class I paddle trip. Location will be determined a week or two out and updated on the calendar. Basic paddling skills, training and gear are a prerequisite for all registrants. Life Jackets (PFD) will be worn at all times on the water. No alcohol during trip.

This months trip will be the Roaring River TN. (Class I) August 26^th, 2023    (4th Saturday this month).

We will paddle about 6.5 river miles from Boils WMA to Roaring River Park.

Meet me at the put-in at the Boils at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 26th.

Roaring River Park address is 10417 Dodson Branch Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562.

There is a $5 day parking fee at a kiosk by card at the entrance.

Direction to put in (Boils):

From Roaring River Park travel approximately 6.3 miles to the Boils WMA access point.

Travel East from the park on Dodson Branch Hwy 135 for 1.5 miles. Turn left on Roaring River Rd. Travel over bridge and about 1200 ft turn right on Roaring River Rd due east. Travel about 4 miles to the Boils WMA put in on the right.

Directions to take out are reverse back to Roaring River Park.

**If you are not a member of ACA, there is a $10 ACA insurance coverage fee on the registration form. If you are a current ACA member, please make sure you include your ACA number in registration.
